Close Blow!
Close Blow!
Who ever thought the whale could be so close (and so big) that it wouldn't fit in the frame of my little point'n'shoot camera? There are 9 more pictures in my Whale Watch #2 gallery -- click on this one to see them. [livejournal.com profile] fredcritter, you'll be particular interested in seeing "Not-A-Fluke."

Wake. Shower. Drive. Drive. Drive. Hi, [livejournal.com profile] debgeisler! Coffee, talk, talk, cherry muffins (plain for the Gavster), talk, sweet rolls! Yummmmm..... (Thanks, Deb's Mom! Thanks, Deb!) Quiche. OJ. Talk, talk, talk. Ride, ride, ride.

Note: assume more talk happening throughout. Shared sensibilities, stories, good company, good times. Many, many giggles.

See Atlantic Ocean, pick up rocks and sea-tumbled glass. Ride. Board boat. Sea air: breathe, breathe, breathe. Herring Gulls, Sooty Shearwaters, Wilson's Storm-Petrels, more sea birds. Flap, flap. Glide alongside our boat.

Whale! WhaleWhaleWhaleWhaleWhaleWhaleWhaleWhale and at least 12 more whales! About the whales...and the rest of our day. Includes ice cream. )

The last of the Wales Whale Watchers picks up email, reads "You call *that* sushi?", Deb's Most Excellent Post about our shared adventure. Yep, it was grand all around.
