The home buyer's inspection came with unexpected good news, unexpected bad news, and a lot of information. Still awaiting the inspector's written report, but I think we'll be able to work out things as needed with the sellers and their Realtor. Yesterday's interest rate jump wasn't welcome; I haven't locked my mortgage rate yet. My mortgage agent called quickly yesterday morning to let me know, but I hestitated and lost. Here's hoping things settle back a bit next week. Rates have now gone up three times in about 2 weeks. Oh, joy.

I'm off to Hartford this morning. Windsor Locks, actually. Home of my new "home" airport, BDL. I'm heading to my old home city, Minneapolis, for something of an extended stay around Minicon. Looking forward to staying with fredcritter and his family, and to seeing many friends over the next week and especially at the convention!
