I've noticed that people tend to dress the same way on the same dates regardless of where they live. It may be -12C in Regina, -5C in Toronto, 45F in Washington, and 55F in Los Angeles, but people seem to wear the same kind of clothing regardless.

(The high tomorrow here is supposed to be 70F. People are planning to mow their lawns. I am not acclimated.)

about the cartoon, not the "test" (I don't usually bother with those things) --
One of my favorite memory-snapshots of California is walking down University Avenue in Palo Alto (if you keep going past the train station, you are on the grand entrance to Stanford), in the "winter", with weather well below 50 degrees, and encountering a little cluster of Stanford jocks pissing and moaning that they were FREEZING.
(One of my taglines that season was, "No, freezing is when there's ice.")
