This started back at Deb's "How I get my jollies.... post of August 7th. Well, actually it started the day before that, with Deb's phone call.

Shoes. I think they call them shoes. "You could paint little globes," Deb said. Well, someone could. Then my shoes would be both on top of the world and beneath it. I would encompass multitudes. Or, I could just leave them brown.

I'm sensing several opportunities here. Perhaps a "paint Geri's shoes" program item someplace, or a fan fund auction with the winning bidder getting to serve as Art Director and thereby deciding which spherical, astronomical bodies get depicted. Then there's the possibility of Iron Artist, with the shoes serving as the secret ingredient. One each.

Me, I'm thinking more along the lines of marbles. That'd leave me with a pair of oxymoronic shoes. So long as I had them, I could demonstrate both that I hadn't lost my marbles, and that I had.
