...just scored a ZERO on the online Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test.

BTW, zero is the perfect score. Age has caught up with my eyes in other ways, but not with hue, apparently.

Either that, or the online test is bollocks, as the tetrachromacy test that's making the rounds following the whole dress color excitement appears to be.

I note with disappointment that the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test is sadly lacking in llamas.

I just did it, and got a 43. I don't know if that's good, bad or indifferent.

If you do this sort of thing for fun, I recommend the game Blendoku (if you're not already familiar with it, of course). It's a smart phone game that has you doing just this sort of rearranging, with lots of levels. The free game is ad-supported, but you can get rid of the ads by paying $2 for an upgrade module.

I did this thing several years ago, and did NOT get a perfect score. Only partially in jest, I blame it on the ambient light.

It's not BS. But I expect you're running a monitor with a high gamut. I ran it on a color-calibrated monitor a few years ago and pulled a 4, I think.

If you really want to know, you need to do the boxed test with physical color chips.

The tetrachromacy test is bogus because you can't test for tetrachromatic vision with a trichromatic color source. It can't produce the wavelengths that the 4th cone type would activate on. It only produces red, green and blue.

Huh. I scored a 15, which is much lower than I would have thought. Interesting. I usually think of myself as having terrible color vision.
