The Zeppelin Hanger shows no signs of sliding down the hill into the swampy bits, so I guess I'm okay. I'm trying to remember if I've ever before seen this many days with this much rain anywhere I've lived. Don't think so. It's remarkable. And remarkably wet.

Date: 2005-10-14 02:30 am (UTC)When I started going away to school, I found that the most important item of furniture was a wastebasket. When I came to this area for college, I found that the most important item of clothing was an umbrella. Boots are nice, but with an umbrella you can walk around the flooded blocks (which were much more common before they got the sewers sorted out), while boots don't protect you from drenches. In other words, it can get seriously wet here -- it just is more likely a little later in the year.
