...but it's also 1 measly degree friendly Fahrenheit here at Toad Woods. The lions and lambs would both be frozen solid here. Thanks to the heroine who fills my oil tank even when I haven't managed to clear a path to the back of the house (or even carved a way through the plow ridge along the drive), I'm not frozen. So long as I stay inside, that is. Fortunately, I've lots of work and more to keep me busy and then some. Now if only keystrokes and mouse clicks generated heat....

C'mon, spring! You can do it! We are SO ready for you.

Yep. We're getting somewhere around 6-10 inches of snow tomorrow. I was supposed to be going to an Oscar party, but I guess I'll just be watching from home.

We had -12°F up here in downtown Colebrook, which means that the folks up on the mountains probably got down to the predicted -20.

I, too, am more than ready for spring, even the early north country variety where the days get up to just below freezing. (You know you've lived up here for a while when you can refer to 32°F as "balmy and springlike" with absolutely no trace of irony.)

We're ready for Spring, too!

We've had falling temps all day. As w/ Laurie, we're expecting 4"-10" of snow by tomorrow night -- preceded by ice. Temps below zero.

WE were hoping to go to a Brazilian Carnival party tonight. Nope.

DEFINITELY ready for Spring.
