Krysta December is exactly what Belen was talking about. When the Ann Arbor resident gets a chance to come to East Lansing, she tries to stop in the shop located at 313 E. Grand River Ave.

"I'm very loyal to Melting Moments," she said. "When I went to school at MSU, I came here a lot."

This one might have been me, but I would never have said that about the ice cream store, since I never went there during college - I went to the competition! But I'm guessing that I did say something nearly quotable.

This is kind of frightening, actually. First I did it wrong, not including the quotes. I had pages and pages of stuff with me. It wasn't until I got to page 10 that I found no reference on the page to me. The first few pages were all me, usually links to book reviews I've written for Mythprint.

I also found my name cited in a IEEE paper from the job I left 10 years ago. I didn't know that existed. Unfortunately, I'm not an IEEE member so I couldn't read it. (It as about the failure analysis lab we had at HP.)

When I did it with quotes, I had no results on the name I commonly use (the short form). Doing it with my full first name had one result, referring to a namesake of mine in Alaska who has a popcorn shop.

I Googled myself years ago and found no one else with my use name. I found 6 others with my full name, several of which were nuns. (Which is not surprising when you know what my full name is. Only Catholics name their kids that.)

My full name resulted in zero hits. The first name came up with the usual large quantities of hits, including someone who's now an attorney and one phone service. Not me.
