Power = on

gerisullivanAll is well here at Toad Woods. The power is back on and my home phone service, which went down an hour or so after the power went out, is also back up and working fine.
Even though it was after the fact, I managed to clear the leaves out of half of the front gutter and, more importantly, nail the sagging bits of the gutter more firmly to the fascia. It now stands a much better chance of making it through the winter.
I like being a homeowner, but I certainly am crap at the whole care and maintenance part of the job. I've been meaning to buy a ladder adequate for the safe cleaning of the entire gutter for several years now.
Onward.
