It's been awhile since I've purchased or even gone looking at current offerings in the way of inflatables.

It's good to know we can still count on Archie McPhee's.

The inflatable tentacle arm first caught my eye, then the inflatable beard. Then there's the inflatable turkey. Lifesize, even.

Inflatable food does seem to have arrived. Archie McPhee's also offers unconvincing inflatable meatloaf and the suspiciously-similar inflatable fruitcake. Cupcakes are trendy, so there's an inflatable version of one of those, too. The only thing missing is inflatable bacon. Surprising, really; bacon has its own tab on the Archie McPhee's homepage.

The inflatable Van Gogh opens up an entire new realm of possibilities. I give the designer demerits for putting the inflation valve on the front of the frame. It's not like we wouldn't know the thing's inflated without seeing it.

I wonder if there's a volume discount on the Emergency Inflatable Brain. We could send hundreds off to members of Congress and I see more than a few places where they might come in handy in fandom, too.

Yeah. An inflatable Van Gogh would have an obvious spot for the valve, after all: under the Velcro-attachable inflatable ear.
