Dreamwidth and Me

Six months in, I just don't seem to be using Dreamwidth. I'll be converting to a free account rather than disappearing entirely, but LiveJournal remains the place to find me.

I wish the entire Dreamwidth crew the best of success with Dreamwidth's continued development and thank my friends who are hanging out here for continuing to crosspost to LJ however much they choose to.

As I noted a day or two ago, even if I move more of my focus over there, I'm going to keep crossposting unless something weird happens. (For now, it's slightly more likely to be LJ-only than DW-only.)

My early frustrations with Dreamwidth were the lack of photo hosting and the weirdness of trying to synch to LiveJournal. I got in the habit of just staying here...eventually, I'll re-synch. But I'm probably not going to renew my paid account, either.

Right now, not being a member I can't answer and I can't often even read DW posts. It's the same with LJ of course, but then it's easier for now just to give up commenting on DW posts.

And yes I have an invite code, but I never got around to activate it, because I am mildly annoyed at the whole DW mystique. And also very lazy.
