Tree Report: In Process
Dec. 23rd, 2010 03:05 amLooking good. I feel like I'm cheating, though. I'm fine with the convenience of my first artificial tree -- the ease of setting it up, the fact that the lights are already on it. But I wasn't prepared for just how much of an advantage being able to position the branches is. They stay where I put them, rather than bouncing back on their own and pushing ornaments aside in the process. It's utterly weird...and oh, so easy to decorate.
A public service announcement
Dec. 23rd, 2010 03:48 amFor any and all who have ever had the occasion and opportunity to enjoy
debgeisler's Sweet Rolls, I am both surprised and delighted to announce I have a new favorite flavor:
Cinnamon Raisin
I didn't think anything could replace apricot in my sweet roll affections, but OMG, cinnamon raisin. With vanilla-rich frosting. NomNomNomNomNom.
Thank goodness I've had a few folks to share this sweet roll with, and thank goodness I offered before tasting it. I can only hope I would have had the generosity and common sense to share it anyway, but if I'd tasted it first, I would have been way to tempted to bogart the whole thing, and that would have been, um, over the top and then some.
Deb's Cinnamon Raisin Sweet Roll. Fabulous.
