3:00pm Snow Report

First four inches shoveled. Easy enough -- it's all powder. Of course, there's still the ice underneath, just to keep the job interesting.

Small flakes still falling. Rapidly. There's sure to be another shoveling session in my near future.

7:00pm Snow Report

Six more inches on the ground; six more inches now shoveled. Total is now 10 inches and it's still coming down, down, down.

No sign of plow guy yet. He's been by to sand a couple of times and plow once already this season, so I know he's on. Good thing I don't have any plans to go anywhere.

Back to the salt mines here at my computer....

9:00pm: Snow Report

Snow = not currently falling.

Total: 10.5 inches.

Plow Guy showed up about 20 minutes after the last flake fell. Nice.

I'm staying in tonight anyway.

Grotesque in Every Respect Okay, I'm a layman; I call this guy a gargoyle even though he doesn't have a spout for directing water away from the building. But after 10 inches of snow have fallen? He's grotesque all the way!
