A cure for migraines wouldn't be amiss, either. We live in the future. It's been years since they figured out ulcers. Surely migraines should be next, and soon.

Date: 2008-09-20 03:09 pm (UTC)And he came home with an enormous bundle of long-stemmed red roses for me (these are "North Station roses," a particular varietal that he once confided "are specially bred not to remain alive for more than 48 hours"). As we began to unpack them and find vases, it became clear that it was not one dozen...it was two dozen. There are roses everywhere!
