It wasn't by deliberate choice or decision, but this has turned out to be the first Christmas since I learned how to apply wrapping paper to a package that I somehow managed to arrive on this day without having done so for a single Christmas present. A few minutes ago, I tied decorative ribbon around two gifts I hope to deliver to day, but not a single present has been wrapped here at Toad Woods, or anywhere else, either.

This isn't a problem; I do find it remarkably surprising.

We arrived in Ohio without anything in gift wrap (including the things that were mailed directly to mom's and were *supposed* to be wrapped by the company!)...in large measure because we knew TSA would just screw up the wrapping anyway.

Gift bags. I'm very fond of gift bags. :-)
