3:00pm Snow Report

First four inches shoveled. Easy enough -- it's all powder. Of course, there's still the ice underneath, just to keep the job interesting.

Small flakes still falling. Rapidly. There's sure to be another shoveling session in my near future.

Salt-equivalent and sand are fine, and I even have some of each. I was holding out the foolish hope that the sun would take care of the job. It often does.

(I used the ice melt stuff on the worst of the ice before going to Smofcon. We had another ice storm while I was gone.)
