Reality Markers

Phone call from bank's lawyer: ="How do you want your name listed on the deed?"-

And, "Does your ID show that name?"

ha!

when my gf's son was born, there was a terrible trial getting people to the hospital to see him-- the room was listed under the birth mother's legal name. which isn't what everyone *thinks* is the birth mother's legal name, and certainly isn't mousie, which is what everyone calls her.

"Oh! You said, how did I want my name listed on the deed..." :-)

With all that stress of the new home I think you should take a nice relaxing break... say... the second weekend of July? :)
Big hugs and many congratulations. Will this be Toad Hall too? two?

Your name isn't Geri Sullivan?

It is, actually. Geri. Not Geraldine, or anything else. But the bank's lawyer didn't know that, or what name my ID showed.

I went with Geri F. Sullivan rather than Geri Fitzgerald Sullivan. The Fitzgerald is already there, in the Geri. It's where my first name came from, back in high school, when I changed from the name on my birth certificate to going by Geri instead. Made it legal long enough ago that the mortgage folks didn't ask to see the name change paperwork.
