And, just in case you haven't clicked on tnh's Particles over on Making Light, I offer you her link to the really quite remarkable photos of the 2007 World Beard & Moustache Championships. Be sure to look at the freestyle winners pretty much all the way down!

It's a biennial event that travels: in May, 2009, it will be in Anchorage, Alaska. The categories and rules of judging are fun, too, and a few of the photos in the Unofficial Gallery are downright stfnally fannish. Especially Picture 7. Inquiring Minds wonder if they want to see a full-length photo of that guy.
