Complete Collatio
Complete Collatio

We collated Science-Fiction Five-Yearly at the NESFA Clubhouse last Wednesday night. Copies arrived in mailboxes on both sides of the Pond Monday.

A PDF will go up on efanzines.com in another week or so. I'll post when it does. More photos from the collation are linked to the picture above.

Got mine in the mail today! Hooray! (Haven't read it yet, but it's officially On The List.)

I love it!

I read it at work (that's where I get my mail) and already LoCed. Such a great issue. I'm so happy that I got to read it in it's fuzzy paper form. As much as I am all about eZining, I gotta say that it just felt right.

Thank you for my copy! It is very beautiful.

The postmark was odd to this Brit, being "Middlesex-Essex", but not so odd as the return address in Wales...

My copy arrived yesterday morning, and is sitting on my desk even now for perusal later today. (I have a weekly column in one of the local newspapers, and its deadline intervened.) Thanks everso!

Please forward a copy of that photo to Peter Weston. He was complaining to me only last week that hardly anyone takes photos of collating sessions (I'd sent him one of myself and Martin Tudor collating Critical Wave #1 in 1987, to accompany a piece I'm writing for Prolapse #4).

350, with minimal wastage -- we ended up with 335-340 stapled copies. (Exact count unknown 'cause we didn't closely track how many collators took copies with them.)

In my mailbox! It looks great, but I've only had a chance to skim through so far. The color is really cool!

Congratulations, Geri! I was honored and delighted to have Randy hand-deliver a copy. It's gorgeous! Love the layouts, love the colors and the paper -- the paper makes me purr.

Somewhere in our mounds of photos are shots from various collating parties for The Spanish Inquisition, Littlebrook and other zines printed at our house, like Nielsen Hayden titles. I;ve also got shots from one of our efforts, in the late 1970s or early 1980s, to sort Gary Farber's fanzine collection.

I know that Pete would love them, but the mounds are tucked away in boxes and drawers in our storage room. I am NOT going to go digging around for them, especially with the holidays drawing down on us.
