My day...

...included the news that my hairdresser (the one it took me 9 years to find) is leaving not just the salon, but the profession. She's been hired as a radiology tech, which she went to school for.

My very best to Krissi, but *ouch*! Five months wasn't nearly long enough, even if it did demonstrate that I could find a hairdresser here in Massachusetts where I'd always be not just groomed, but happy with my hair and happy with the experience.

I've pushed my next appointment with Krissi up a week so as to get one final cut before she finishes. Then I'm transferring over to Carissa at the same salon. Fingers crossed!

Best of luck. The hairdresser I was lucky enough to find here retrained as a personal trainer due to RSI problems. Cutting curly hair is really difficult and finding someone who can do it well is even more difficult so I was extremely lucky that she still takes a few clients at home. She and her husband, who's also a trainer, turned the garage where they live into a mini-gym, so she's also the trainer for me and Stephen as wekk. (I joke that if we ever win the lottery, we're just going to have her family move into our mansion with us as paid staff :-> )
