Start at the Improbable Research story, but do follow the links both to the Guardian article and the Buzzfeed photo gallery. Don and Nancy Featherstone wear matching outfits to the Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony every year, but I didn't know before now that they wear matching outfits each and every day of the year. Nancy made a mere 40 of those outfits from flamingo fabric. Don and Nancy are clearly made for each other.

Important sidenote: this year's Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony is doubly early. It's on Thursday, September 12 and starts at 6:00pm Tickets go on sale in mid-July. I thought I would find the Featherstones a little "off" but actually, after reading the article and seeing the photos at Buzzfeed, I think they're really sweet!

Aw, how sweet! Lisa and I have only been matching with costumes like our WSFS uniforms and the Chicon 7 jumpsuits, although have similar-looking yellow coats. (Which is funny given that the two jackets are from different manufacturers and of different styles, but to the casual onlooker they look the same.)
