Shoveling 9" of dry, powdery snow tonight was easier than shoveling 3 inches of slush masquerading as snow two nights ago. Not a lot easier, but easier.

White stuff is still falling from the sky. As far as weather goes, I liked last winter better. Much, much better.

Yep, I'm with you on liking last year's snow totals a lot better. :-P

The year we had a snowpocalypse at Christmas time the doc went out and shoved the snow off the driveway, cars and deck halfway through.

Because shoveling six inches of fluffy snow is easier than 12 inches of fluffy anything, and often the first part gets packed down under the second half.
