So I finally went trick or treating a la LiveJournal. Dressed up as a solar flare, and used the meme for a quick jaunt around the US, Canada, and the UK. I almost missed stopping at Jon Singer's, but then realized I *had* to know what that stop would yield.

I'm now the proud owner of two virtual dead frogs in addition to the roadkill toad that David Harsh gifted me with several years ago. Thanks, Jon & Papersky! And everybody else, too....

I almost bought you a cookie cutter in the shape of a frog last week, when I was looking for moulds for sugar mice. I just barely managed to resist it. Zorinth then pointed out that I could buy it for us and make you frog-cookies. I was even more tempted, but then he oversold me by pointing out how well it would go with our other cookie cutters -- which are a) a set of dinosaurs, and b) a viking ship.

I do that, but I am going to do all sorts of graphic design and edititing as well. It is a moral imperative that I have a full color cover.

No one ever comes trick or treating in Venice! I have all these friends with livejournals using the meme, and none of them ask me for dead frogs!

Well this makes more sense than my first thought which was that you were going to write it in one day. You would surely end up with something either a bit short or less than totally brilliant. Graphics though, graphics can be done in a day. It's the printing of those full colour covers which takes time.
