I love the song but my ears are too tender to listen to it. For some reason I associate this song with Jimmy Buffett but I can't find it on itunes under Buffett, nor by any other performer.

I know the song from somewhere in the past but I don't know where. Did anyone do this song in the old music circles?

I remember it from Baggiecon, from hearing it from carnyjack. Folks might have sung it informally at a couple of the music parties...there's something haunting my hindbrain about that...but it was never a regular number. At least, not that I remember.

In particular, we should have sung it at the luau music party, the one with the cocoanut bras, and the fire on the glass tabletop when the SPAM, pineapple, and maraschino cherry flambe spilled over. That's where we learned fans will eat anything, even water-sodden SPAM chunks.
