If there are a lot of them, I'm hoping you have the strength of character not to make jam during the hot weather. On another hand, it's easy enough to fill a jar with them and top it off with (potable but not too expensive) vodka or brandy.
I like blackberry jam but I have also found a juice made with a blend of blackberries and blueberries at the supermarket. It is pretty good though a bit sweet to drink more than a couple of ounces at a time. My kids drink large quantities and I shudder.
Black raspberries freeze very nicely. Put them on a tray without touching each other and freeze them. When soilid, put them into a freezer container and enjoy later on in the year. Works for bluegberries, too.
