The Twins and Their Toys

One week from today, I'll be the featured speaker at the Kimball House Museum talking about my great-aunts Blanche and Bernice Squier and the Twinzy Toy Company.

My niece, Anne Fitzgerald Mullady, is coming up from Georgia. She'll be there for Grandpa's (Daddy's) 88th birthday the day before the May 24th Twinzy Toy presentation, and will help out with the presentation itself. Win!

If you're within driving distance, give some thought to heading over to Battle Creek next Tuesday. The Twins and Their Toys starts at 6pm at the Kimball House Museum. 196 Capital Ave, NE, Battle Creek. Admission is $5, or $3 for students and Battle Creek Historical Society members.

Anne & I will probably go to Clara's for dinner after the program. If you come, you're welcome to join us. On your way out of town, you can even stop at Sweetwaters for donuts. Yum.

Since I now have a car that could drive there.....but that will be the Monday before Conquest too. So I will likely have too much on my plate even though I'm not responsible for anything this year.
