Forbes sez it's real, albeit in Dan Bigman's "Important if True" blog. Be sure to read the comment about Hunter S. Thompson's 1958 letter to the Vancouver Sun, too. It's a classic.

Unsurprisingly, the post is making the rounds. I found a couple more links back to A Few Tasteful Snaps, journalist Glen McGregor's personal blog. I liked the comments there as well.

Well, I think it does! Either that, or that they need to hire to you to put together a research/reporting bureau (hiring whomever you want as its manager so you can remain focused on the journalism). The job would course come with an adequate travel budget for you and other bureau staff as needed.
