Two days ago, Accuweather said 2.8" of snow was due to fall on Toad Woods tonight and tomorrow.

Yesterday, their total was 8.6" of snow.

Today, the magic number is 14.4". Weather.gov puts us firmly in the 12-18" range.

My doctor's office called and rescheduled my appointment for Thursday. Given how (un)likely it is that I'd be able to get there tomorrow, that's just plain a good idea.

I have mountains of work to do right here inside the Zeppelin Hangar. Soon to be accompanied by mountains of snow to shovel right outside my door.

Take care

and do the shoveling in shifts. the doc didn't let the snow get too deep monday before he did the first pass. then he did a late afternoon pass and included the walks and steps.

We got 6-8 inches between Sunday and last night. The a-hole prize goes to the idiot in a HumVee that was honking at me to drive faster on Broadway Monday morning. When I got north of 31st and chose to move over to the snow-packed lane, I'm sure he didn't see me flip him off but Oh. My;. Ghu. I'm sure my steering wheel smoked a bit from my invective. It doesn't help that most SUV's headlights make my rear view mirror a blinding flash. And it doesn't adjust anymore.

Now we're going to have two Real Cold days. At least we have a new furnace and roof.

Best wishes and stay warm!

We maybe got six inches total, though today is supposed to be one of those "blowing and drifting snow" kind of days. Hope you don't have to go anywhere any time soon.

Oh my goodness! Stay warm, and dry, and safe. Winter can suck sometimes.

Yes, sorry, it just skipped right around us. I had a slight robe of ice and then about half-an-inch of snow on the van and I was able to take care of that mostly by moving the van so the front was in the sun.
