From U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council".

• Blueberries love spices; try them with cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, fresh, ground or crystallized ginger, mace, nutmeg, black pepper and vanilla

• Kick up some new sweet or savory combos with blueberries and herbs such as cilantro, lemon verbena, bay, chives, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, parsley, mint, basil and hot fresh peppers

Spiced blueberry topping. Yummmmm.

Useful thoughts. I just got a box of fresh blueberries from Lull Farm in Hollis yesterday. Had some on my cereal this morning.

I recently had lemon bars with blueberries in them. The blueberries pretty much took over, but that was okay.

Wow, black pepper on blueberries is an interesting idea. Also, black pepper and vanilla. That would be weird.
