The T1 line which connects eFanzines.com (and all my other websites) to the Internet is down.
Some problem with MCI, apparently.
For most of the week, I didn't get the welcome message you quoted. Round about Thursday, there was a message that said something along the lines of the server being down. Daytime Friday, I got the welcome message, but nothing more. Later, the whole thing was back. Huzzah, huzzah, calloo callay.
Bill hasn't yet said anything more about the nature of the problem, or that he's looking for any additional help in investigating it, only that the outage lasted from Sunday night until Friday evening. I'm happy to leave it at that.
