2005 + 3.5 hours

Happy New Year, all!

I ended 2004, and started 2005, re-learning how to knit. It's a mere 30 years or so since I last made anything using knitting needles. Don't know if it will stick, or develop into even the basics I once had down, but it added a lot of enjoyment and contentment to the hours I spent at Joe & Edie's New Year's party. Good times.

Here's hoping 2005 brings much enjoyment and contentment your way. And welcome surprises and discoveries, too.

Knitting

Everyone's doing it! There must have been a dozen people at the quilt guild last night knitting. The woman sitting next to me was trying to cast on with some weird yarn and the woman in the row behind her finally leaned over to help her figure it out. She was casting on with two needles; I remember casting on with one needle. It's been a long time since I knitted. I can't see myself going back, though. Crocheting maybe.
