RIP: Abi Frost

gerisullivanRoz Kaveney reports that Abi Frost was found dead in her flat on Friday afternoon. Roz wrote: "Apparently she had died in her sleep, either last night or the night before, possibly from complications of her cancer or possibly from side effects of her medication."
Please read the rest of Roz' post. There's more than I knew about Abi from her brief stay at Toad Hall during her 1993 TAFF trip, but every word strikes me as utterly true of the woman I met then. At her best, Abi was brilliant, and brilliantly funny, too. I wish she had been at her best more often, and that she'd found a place of lasting joy and comfort with herself and in the world.
