When I had new locks installed in Battle Creek back in August, 2011, I proudly used the table saw in the basement to cut a needed piece of wood. Hadn't used it in decades; it still ran like a charm.
Thanks to having the model number in hand, this afternoon it took mere minutes to learn the saw was first built in 1952...and to download a pdf of the owner's manual.
Fewer than 5 minutes after that, I also had interesting information about the jointer-planer, also from "the 1950s.
