Happy, Happy Birthday...

malibrarian, iraunink, and Miss Conduct! I love sharing a birthday with each and every one of you!
Today's good news is that Atlantis is safely home, home again. That's me trying to focus on the positive. Back in 1969, the very first Moon walk was scheduled for July 21st. It was moved up a day to the 20th for reasons that this Instant Gratification Girl totally sympathizes with. All these years, that's been my big birthday-related event in the space program, that little piece of history that's been forgotten by most everyone except those of us of a certain age, the right sensibilities, and this particular birthday. Now there's another milestone marking the day: the last shuttle landed. That's just sad. Here's hoping the future I'm around to see is filled with a lot more space exploration, and that at least some of it involves sending more humans up there.
My birthday started out formatting something on the order of 3800 members' names in the Renovation Souvenir Book. Wow, so many neat people! That, and lots of mini-trips down Memory Lane. Fun.
