So much Worldcon....

...so little time.

I missed typing on stencil and watching fan artists draw on stencil in the nighttime fan lounge Saturday night. Nonetheless, I had the joy of hearing about it over a bottle of cider with Sharee, Tobes, and Joel in the consuite prep room long after the sun was up. Other friends covered the working part of the job, and we did our best to get out of the way or help as needed.

'Twas an excellent time, indeed. There's joy in sharing laughter and certain tastes with...oh, I can't explain it beyond saying it's complicated. I like being close to the important people in my friends' lives. And seeing Sharee demonstrate just one of the things that makes a man at the crank of a Gestetner darned hot was worth the extra hours of wakefulness alone.

I am thoroughly enjoying Anticipation and am well beyond glad that I'm here.
