I think our sensibilities both reflect a desire for balance, albeit in different respects. If I understood your original comment correctly, you want the balance of all Hugo wins being mentioned if any are.
If we were providing a paragraph about each judge, I might well have mentioned the Hugo win. Then again, I might have instead considered my Noreascon 4 logo design work more pertinent and mentioned that instead. In the short bit, I mentioned the factors I considered most important and encompassing. Sorry it didn't work for you as well as including the Hugo win would have.
