You make the world a better place. Knowing you makes my world a better place.
Thank you for sharing your experience, insight, cares, concerns, and joy. Learning your perspective on life's challenges helps me more carefully consider, articulate, accept, and sometimes change my own.
I treasure the knowledge that your life is filled with love, knowing how much your life has changed since I met you online and in person in 2002...or was it before? It's anchored in my mind as being then, but there are these haunting memory bits from 2000 and 2001....
Anyway, celebrate! I look forward to the next time are paths intersect in something other than electronic forums.

Date: 2009-01-13 07:11 pm (UTC)I look forward to the next time I see you, which may well be smofcon, since I'm probably going to miss Worldcon this year and take Theresa back to South Africa instead, where I have things to settle, but also I want to show her the place that molded me and that still cups my heart and soul in it's warm hands.
Thanks again, so very much.

Date: 2009-01-13 07:47 pm (UTC)Wonderful as Anticipation sounds, and much as I would like to see you there if I make it myself, taking Theresa to South Africa strikes me as a much higher priority. It will bring so much of your life, your back story, all the more real and accessible for her.
I'll be trying for Smofcon, too, but it doesn't look likely. Very little travel does. Please know that you and Theresa have a place to stay in the wilds of rural Massachusetts if your own travels ever bring you to New England for a fun vacation just wandering about!
