The Peeps Solubility Research continues...and it's getting interesting. I'm keeping a close watch on the cloud forming in the jar with the Bossin's Home Remedy for Nuclear War. If it coalesces into a mushroom shape, I'm outta here.

Here's a look at the current stack of jars. And there, in the background, is a Jon Singer tea cup and Don Fitch will likely recognize the orange creamer!

If it's not too late, I think I'm at a point where I can come over and photograph. Is there still something to photograph?

There's finally enough to photograph! I originally said "after February 1st" for exactly that reason. What days this week will work for you? I'm out this afternoon, but expect to be home from Monday on.

I don't know why, but I'm really curious to see a comparative analysis of the various solution media. Did results differ depending on the color or age of the test subjects? What solution will cause mini-peeps to precipitate out intact?

I hope very much to write up something along these lines after the contest at Boskone. Perhaps I should start writing it now and just not *publish* it until after Boskone.

Probably you should begin writing now, or at minimum, keep field notes so that you don't have to rely entirely on memory for reporting interesting observations...

Don Fitch probably wouldn't have noticed that orange-colored creamer if you hadn't mentioned it. (The new, plastic, lens in his left eye is marvelous, but best for distance-vision, and new eyeglasses are a month or so in the future.) The creamer was, if memory serves, one of the items given away to people who attended the Saturday afternoon movies at the Alex theatre in Glendale, CA, during the early 1940s.

A new method of solubility.
