Going Up for Down Under Down Comfort
Jan. 4th, 2008 02:02 amThe thermometer on my back deck confirms what sitting next to a single-paned window is telling me: it's brutally cold out there. As in -7 degrees Fahrenheit. Brrrr.
So I'm heading upstairs. Flannel nightgown or flannel jammies? Hmmm...jammies, I think. Then I'll crawl under the down blanket and the down comforter and get down to sleep.
Here's hoping the reports of warmer-than-usual temperatures turn out to be accurate. Eight consecutive days above freezing, starting Friday? Sounds good to me! A high of 50 on Tuesday? Even better!
But first...first we shiver.
Brrrr.

Date: 2008-01-04 03:46 pm (UTC)I don't tend to notice the temperature unless it gets into the -30s, is very windy, is very humid or any combination of the above.
