About those 10,000 h/o/p/s/ steps...

gerisullivan...surely 5,885 of them spent pushing a lawnmower count for double, right? Some might argue that self-propelled lawnmowers don't count, but I would cite the hillsides and the height of the grass, and I would win the argument.
Mower tank empty to the point of dry. I'm letting it (and me) cool down before resuming my efforts to clear a path around the tree that Hurricane Irene knocked down. Some NESFAns are coming to today's Other Meeting early so as to have a whack at it, for which I am deeply grateful.
The 5,885 steps were broken up by some truly pleasant breaks sitting on the rollabout work bench that followed me home from Daddy's garage? basement? How can I have forgotten so quickly? I think it's the one from the garage, but it doesn't seem greasy enough for that. Then again, it's not dusty enough to have come from the basement.
I guess it's enough to know it came out of my car.
It truly is beautiful here. Here's to rearranging my life so I spend more of it outdoors here at Toad Woods. Some of it working, yes, but some of it just plain sitting, looking about, and feeling the breeze.
