elisem's request, I've refreshed my own awareness of stroke symptoms and the importance of getting to an emergency room fast, fast, fast, and I'm posting to encourage everyone reading this to do likewise.
For me, that meant reviewing Jim Macdonald's stroke notes again; reading the Mayo Clinic Health Information pages on strokes; scanning the Healthwise Knowledgebase pages just to hammer it in; and listening again to Jill Bolte Taylor's Stroke of Insight TED Talk.
Most of you will have already seen the news of Elise's Tuesday night stroke, but in case you haven't, I direct your attention to these two posts on Making Light.
Here's hoping every brain problem I hear of in 2011 ends up with the best possible outcome, just like Elise's.
