Yes, it's been too long...
Jul. 27th, 2006 02:02 am...since I updated my journal. My thanks to
dragonet2 for the noodge.
Life is its usual mix, intensified. I'm hanging in there and doing even better than that some days. Time is conspicuous in its absence. Business is in "drink up the river before you drown" mode, and looks to remain that way through early winter at least. This is a Good Thing, especially since I so rarely buy lottery tickets. But it's also something of a challenge to schedule Real Life in and around it all.
To be a tad more specific, that means the house is a mess, the lawn is long overdue for mowing once again, and I still haven't finished knitting the shawl I hoped to wear to my mother's memorial. Then again, it was too bloody hot and then some to be wearing a shawl that day, and not having it done really didn't make a whit of difference to the event itself or my participation in it.
With luck, judgment, and perspective, the other things that I end up letting slide will be of similar consequence. Those who know me well will be pleased to hear I'm heading up to sleep for the night rather than tackling the next project in the queue.
