gerisullivanI picked up another Improbable Research Investigator credit today, thanks to Marc Abraham's deft and speedy handling of the football & concussions announcement and news link that I sent his way last night.
Yes, Mr. Improbable himself knew the exact link to the "makes people LAUGH" part of our mission. When I first read the CNN article, I went straight from the "well, duh" moment to the "then makes them THINK" stage.

While you're there, you can also take a look at the latest I issue of the Annals of Improbable Research, chock full of coverage of this year's Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony and related goings-in. Though I must say -- and from extensive, highly personal experience with the printed magazine, the PDFs, and the html -- the high-res PDF has all the pictures at full size, as big as subscribers see them in the printed magazine....and they're in color, too.
