That may well be the most wonderful birthday greeting I've ever received, aside from agrathea. Thanks so very much. You are an extremely sweet person and I too am the richer for knowing you. We are blessed to have so many people who love us and care about us. So much has changed since then, much of it on the personal front, but also me reinventing my whole professional life... again. (Either I've got guts or I'm f*cking stoopid ;) )

I look forward to the next time I see you, which may well be smofcon, since I'm probably going to miss Worldcon this year and take Theresa back to South Africa instead, where I have things to settle, but also I want to show her the place that molded me and that still cups my heart and soul in it's warm hands.
